I’ve always been someone who moves. Growing up in the Catskills, I played sports, spent as much time outside as I could, and found my way into lifting throughout high school and college. I had dabbled in yoga here and there over the years, but it wasn’t until I moved to the Berkshires and found Radiance that I dove headfirst into a dedicated practice.
I originally walked into the studio looking for something that was just for me, and I had no idea how quickly it would become such a huge part of my life. Less than a year after finding Radiance, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and went from practicing in the room to teaching at the front of it. Yoga changed my life in such a short period of time, and that’s a huge part of why I love teaching. I know firsthand how much can change when you find a practice and a community that really clicks.
These days, you can usually find me in the studio early in the morning, starting the day sweaty. I teach Power Flow and Sculpt, and my classes are all about working hard, having fun, and not taking yourself too seriously. Expect strong, intentional movement, a good playlist, and plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself. Give me a long down dog or a forward fold and I’m happy.
More than anything, I want students to leave class feeling strong, accomplished, and a little more connected to themselves than when they walked in. Come take an early morning class with me and start your day sweaty, strong, and feeling good.
