Back-to-You September: A 3-Step Reset for Busy Schedules (That Actually Sticks)
Ah, September. The air gets a little crisper, the kids head back to school, the beach towels get swapped for cozy sweaters… and you suddenly realize your own routines have been on “summer mode” for a while.
Summer has its own magic, but September brings a natural opportunity to reset—not by overhauling your life or adding a million more things to your schedule, but by getting back to the things that help you feel good.
At Radiance Yoga in Pittsfield, MA, we’ve created a 3-step “Back-to-You” reset—perfect for busy humans who want more movement, energy, and time for themselves—without the overwhelm.
And with daily classes from early morning at 5:30am to evening at 6:45pm, plus on-demand and YouTube options, there are more ways than ever to make yoga fit into your actual life.
Step 1: Keep it Simple with short Routines
Your routine doesn’t have to be an hour long to count. In fact, the “short but consistent” approach is often much easier to maintain.
Even 20–30 minutes of movement can give you a reset between meetings, help you start your morning with more energy, or give you a chance to unwind at the end of the day.
At home, ry one of our On-Demand Yoga Classes—perfect for busy mornings or winding down at night. Or explore our Radiance Yoga YouTube channel for free practices that fit into any schedule.
Prefer to get out of the house? Our weekday early morning 5:30am classes are just 50 minutes, so you can move, sweat, reset, and still get on with your morning.
Short and consistent adds up.
Step 2: Pick Your Two “Anchor” Classes
Consistency beats intensity. Instead of trying to fit in as many classes as possible right away, choose two classes each week that become your non-negotiable anchors.
And this fall, you’ve got plenty of options.
Early bird? Join us at 5:30am for a 50-minute class or catch one of our 6:30am classes every weekday morning.
Not an early bird? We’ve got 8:15am and 9:30am options, too.
Need to squeeze movement into your workday? Starting September 9, we’re adding lunchtime yoga! Join Abby on Wednesdays at 12pm for Yoga Barre 45—45 minutes to move, strengthen, reset, and head back into your afternoon feeling amazing.
After work more your speed? You’ll find classes at 4:15pm, 5:30pm, and 6:45pm every weekday, giving you plenty of ways to move before heading home for the night.
Choose the two that work best for your life and put them on repeat.
Think of them like bookends—two moments you know will help keep you grounded, no matter how the rest of the week goes. These could be:
Monday Morning Yoga Sculpt or Power Flow to set the week’s tone
Friday Evening Slow Flow + Restore to release tension before the weekend
Or any combination that works with your lifestyle and energy
Book your classes now and once they’re in your calendar, treat them like a meeting with your most important client—yourself.
Step 3: Schedule Self-Care Like an Appointment
We all know how fast “I’ll do it later” turns into “I didn’t do it at all.”
The fix? Put your classes, workouts, and self-care into your calendar before the week gets away from you.
Book your two anchor classes ahead of time. Set a reminder. Keep your mat and water bottle ready. If you’re heading to a 5:30am class, lay everything out the night before.
These tiny decisions remove one more barrier between you and showing up.
And remember: your routine doesn’t have to look exactly the same every week. If life gets busy and you can’t make it into the studio, use our On-Demand Library or YouTube channel instead.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating a rhythm you can keep coming back to.
Your Reset Starts Now
You don’t have to wait for the “right time” to get back into a routine.
Start this week.
Choose two classes. Put them on your calendar. Give yourself permission to begin small.
This September, it’s more than back-to-school. It’s Back to You—more movement, more energy, more connection, and a routine that actually works for your life.
