Natalie Bennett
I (thankfully) found my way to the yoga mat in the midst of a tumultuous season of life, a season in which I felt completely out of touch with my purpose and true identity. My mental and physical health were suffering tremendously and I was simply surviving. With the words and wisdom of so many wonderful yoga teachers guiding my practice, I began the slow crawl back to myself and toward an understanding of wholeness.
To me, the magic of yoga lies in its astounding effects on the human nervous system (and therefore the whole body)…and ultimately its impact on our entire experience of reality. I consider every student who walks into my class a way to return the great gifts yoga has given me. What gifts, you ask? An abundance of compassion, mental flexibility, and increased self-awareness, just to name a few. In my classes we will breathe deeply, take our time, honor the miracle of having a human body, and let the practice show us how radiant we really are.
In 2018 I attended immersive 200 hour training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Todos Santos, Mexico and in 2023 completed 300 hours with the Yoga & Ayurveda Center. I consider myself a perpetual student and love to share my passion for anatomy & physiology, nature, sound healing, guided meditations, exploratory movement, and anything interesting that the universe puts on my heart.
